Why should we hire Amora Weddings & Films?

Do you offer wedding planning or coordination?

Yes! We offer both full-service wedding planning and day-of coordination through our trusted partner, Quincy Bates Productions. This ensures a smooth and seamless experience, from planning to the last dance.

How far in advance should we book?

We recommend booking 9–12 months in advance, especially for peak seasons. However, don’t hesitate to contact us for short-notice weddings—we may still have availability!

How would you describe your style?

Our style is a blend of classic elegance and documentary storytelling. We focus on capturing natural moments, genuine emotion, and the beautiful in-between memories that make your day unforgettable.

Do you travel?

Yes! We are based in Houston, Texas, and travel throughout the Greater Houston area at no additional cost. We’re happy to travel beyond that—just reach out to discuss custom travel rates.

Are guests allowed to take pictures?

Yes, guests are welcome to take photos! That said, we kindly recommend an unplugged ceremony so your guests can be fully present—and so our team can capture the best, distraction-free shots of your special moments.

Can we meet before the wedding?

Absolutely! We offer consultations either in person (Houston area), virtually via Zoom, or at a local coffee shop. We want to get to know you and walk through your vision together.

Should we do an engagement session?

Yes, and we highly encourage it! Engagement sessions help build trust and comfort before the big day. Plus, you’ll get beautiful photos for save-the-dates or your wedding website.

How do we book?

After selecting your package, we’ll send you a digital agreement and invoice. A 30% retainer is required to secure your date, with the balance due 14 days before the wedding.

My partner isn’t very photogenic—can you help?

Definitely! Our approach is laid-back and natural. We offer gentle posing guidance and prompts to make you feel relaxed, comfortable, and confident in front of the camera.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. We require a 30% retainer at booking, with the remaining balance due 14 days before your event. Couples who pay in full at booking receive 10% off prints and products in their gallery.

Where are you located?

We are located in Houston, Texas, and proudly serve couples throughout the state and beyond.

Can we send inspiration or a shot list?

Of course! We welcome your ideas and will talk through your preferences during our planning meeting or via our detailed pre-wedding questionnaire.

Do you offer video services?

Yes! Our photo + video packages include cinematic highlight films, full-length ceremony edits, professional audio, and drone footage where applicable. You can also book videography as a standalone service.

How many images will we receive?

Depending on your collection, you’ll receive between 500–1,000+ high-resolution, professionally edited images delivered in a private online gallery.

Do you use second shooters?

Yes! Amora Weddings & Films has a professional team of second photographers and videographers to help us capture every angle and moment of your wedding day, especially for larger or multi-location events.
